How to create a sticky sidebar object

Can anyone tell me how to create a sticky sidebar object in WordPress? Is there a plugin for this(I hope)? I have not been able to find any plugins. And have found no simple method. Programming code is not my forte. So I am hoping for a simple method if one exists.

I just want a graphic or text to scroll down the page as the reader scrolls, so it is always visible to the reader.
