Does the Wp Clone plugin works for you?

Hey there

would like to know if that plugin works for you in WP 4

I get no results at all and if yours is working fine then I have a prob at my end.

This is by the way the easiest cloner plugin I used and you maybe know a similar free one aside Duplicator which also won't work as the sites size is too big with 5GB

  • Most of the cloner plugins will not work with a 5GB site. This is how I get around that with Duplicator:

    Ignore the directory with all the big files (usually wp-content/uploads) in the Duplicator settings. The install the package without the directory, and simply do an SCP via ssh from the old site to the new site.

    You could also zip and download the uploads folder separately and move it manually. its just a directory that big can cause your server to choke.
