I am wondering if its possible to add a second description box in the product category editor screen of woocommerce?

Basically the default description box (its the same with standard wordpress categories) allows you to add text under the title but above the products or post exceprts (if its standard wp categories).

I want to be able to also add text below the products, so I can jam a 1,000 word article underneath my products for seo purposes.

Is this an easy bit of code to add?

  • Front end editor screen it is but then you have to wire it up to the backend which will probably involve adding a new field to the relevant database table. And then you need to change the products page to show the new field. Plus sql changes to the relevant update/select/insert statement.
