Hope this is the right forum.

I bought an external hard drive several months ago and have been saving stuff to it.
I lost it last night and can't find it anywhere. Question: How do I make another one?

  • Glad you found it! If in fact, it had stayed lost, you basically would have been out of luck. This is the type of thing you need a cloud back up for, (i.e carbonite or barracuda) -- but you have to have it in place before you lose your drive.

  • I believe the fee you buy external drive will equal the price you buy the cloud backup in 10 years. No one know your drive still work well in 10 years but the cloud drive 's always safe and security what you can access from anywhere. Why not?
