Blocking all sites that are reffered from a particular domain?

Not sure if I'm in the right forum's section, but anyways...

Let's say there is one particular website and I want to instantly block all other websites that are referred/linked from that particular website. So If I visit that particular website and there will be a link on it and if I click on that link, then a new website could be opened but it would show server not found just like happens if you block a domain name in your hosts file. I want all other sites to open, but I don't want them to load. I hope you understand what I want. And one more thing, I don't want to block them completely, I just want to block them from a particular domain. So if I visit the same site from another domain (the same site's URL would be placed on some other website/domain), it would open without any problems).

Maybe I could make something with some add-on (firefox, chrome) or with hosts file?

      No. All blocked sites would be not mine too. All sites would be random.

      So lets say abc.com points to bbb.com, hdd.com, etc... all linked sites would be blocked instantly after I click on them from that abc.com site. But if the same sites would be linked from another site, example abb.com, after I would open them, all would be working fine.

      Not sure if this is even possible to do.

        You might be able to generate an image of that site which of course would not have clickable links. There may be legal issues with that however.

          Either you posted in a wrong thread or didn't read carefully what I wrote.

          An example:

          Warriorforum has a link on a thread, I click on that link, it redirects me to a website. So I want that website to open as no server found (when you block a domain in hosts file, it would show like this even if the site is working).

          So for example, if warriorforum would have hundreds of links to other websites, each website I click on would open as no server found. This would block all external sites that warriorforum links to. But I would just block all these other websites only if they are linked from warriorforum. If I click on the same links from another domain, they would open normally.

          I hope now it's clear. And of course, warriorforum was just used as an example.

          So again, I don't think this would be possible, but if someone thinks it would be, let me know.

            So you're saying that (to continue to use WF as an example) you do not own WF, but when someone is visiting the WF and clicks on a link, you want them to get a 'server not found' message.

            I really hope that's not what you're asking.

            I am at a lost as to understanding why you'd want to do this in the first place.

              In my opinion you're understanding correctly. Also, this is possible to make only by making some custom Plugin/Extension for specific browser,because he's the only one who is able to do something like that for any website on the web.

              With that said this will work only for users who have installed that plugin in their browser, for all other users on the web that won't be the case. Hope this helps.

                Dear Haship,

                Yes you can do it . You need to Contact your webhosting provider and Block the website or if you are the administrator of the webhosting you yourself can block the website and in turn all the websites linked to that website will be Blocked

    all you have to do to block the site is delete that link for good saves more problems period

    ive designed my own advertising page and if i want to block other sites i advertise i just delete them easy?.
