    I'd bet that if you remove those font installations in the header, you'll see a speed increase.

    I'm talking about these things:

    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Droid+Sans:regular,bold' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'/>
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Kreon:light,regular' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'/>

      Hello there,

      What are those fonts accomplishing exactly? What will change if I remove those two lines?

        Those fonts are being installed onto computers that don't already have them installed. If you remove those fonts, chances are everyone's browser will show your content with a default font instead, and everything will be gravy. I can't know for sure, though. But you can...

        Just comment them out, save the template, and reload a page. See if it loads any faster. If so, you found the culprit. If, on the other hand, you notice your page seems blank (i.e., no words are on the page), uncomment those tags and save the template immediately because the theme has made them a requirement somehow.

        Without access to the template's code, I can't give you a work-around for a missing font.

    This may be a little 'sticky' subject, but ...
    Try dumping the molasses, and it should load faster.
