google xml sitemap plugin

Hello

I have installed on my website the Google XML Sitemap plugin. When I view the sitemap in google webmaster tools the results show the default wordpress permalink structure. I have my permalinks set to a custom setting (/%category%/%postname%/) Is there a way to make the sitemap show this way or is there a better sitemap plugin that will do this.

And second, if you can answer this, will it affect SEO in any way. I will ask this in the SEO subforum later but thought I would just thow in in with this thread in case someone could answer it

  • I would suggest you to use /%postname%/ permalink structure and use the Yoast SEO sitemap that works perfectly and you can minimize the number of plugins by one
