What is the best (every) page visits counter solution?
I have been having an epic time trying to find the solution for tracking page visits. This is a WordPress question, but if you have a great answer for php, I would take that too, because I have a php site that has the same issue.
I want to track page visits for each page on the site, which publishes a few a day at least, and will be publishing more.
I would ideally like to track by user (the person whose username wrote the article), and tally the views of all their articles. (If I could track by day/week/month that would be great, but at this point, just a sum total would be nice.) I would also like to be able to track the views of the pages PUBLISHED by editors (the person who actually hits the "publish" button.
So, for example:

And if with publishers
