Need help - probably programmer

I need to solve this puzzle, so I could send en email. I'm not a programmer, so I need help, I know what the Telnet is, but I do not know how to use it.

This is the puzzle:

Telnet to port 'CEFCE' on apply.devana.rs for instructions on how to apply.

HINT:
Web servers usually listen on port 'IA'

  • You seem to have totally missed the point of the page: Careers | DEVANA Technologies

    It says very clearly, "TOP TALENT WANTS TO WORK WITH TOP TALENT."

    If you are not able to figure out telnet and web servers, (which frankly is kindergarten level as far as these jobs), then you are definitely not qualified as "top talent".

    They put that puzzle up for a very good reason. Don't waste their time if you can't figure out how to apply without cheating like this.

    A = 0
    B = 1
    C = 2
    D = 3
    E = 4
    F = 5
    ...
    I = 8

    Port CEFCE = 24524

    Do them a favor and dont ever apply

  • I don't think you should apply for this job, they ask technical problem to non-technical person. Or maybe that job is not suitable for you.
  • Maybe the point is to use the resources out there to solve the problem.
    Its the basic qualification for any job, an open minded person who can figure it out.
    either way, take the time to solve it, and apply.
    If you devote yourself ,maybe you can do it....
    You will never now what you can do if you don't try.
