I think if you hate wordpress you obviously can't appreciate the value. As a PHP programmer and web designer, I can customize wordpress and give a customer a unique and awesome site for much less than the local competition. Yes, if you don't have MySQL then you can't use it, but if you don't have MySQL, you need to seriously consider getting a new host anyways.

waa.. i might like to look at the admin section.. may be i can reuse it to compliment with my online file editors. let me check how they handle file locks and user management
