Need help with Wordpress Transfer to New Host. I'm Stuck

I've been trying to transfer my website to a new host for nearly a week now and have reached my wits end and am seeking some assistance because I have hit a road block and do not know what to do at this point.

Here is what I have done so far;
Created a new mysql database on the new host.

Imported database to new host.

Transfered my files from my old host to my new host and placed them in the root. I'm sure this went well because my theme is showing up perfectly.

Updated my WP-Config file with my new database info.


Everything looks good on the new host except none of my content is displaying and none of my images that were hosted on the old server(which are now transfered to the new host) are showing up on the new site.

**Can't post actual links to the site because my post count on WF is too low**

Now, my nameservers are still pointing to the old host. Did not want to change them until I am sure that I have transfered the site correctly. Would this be my problem?

At this point I am stuck and do not know what to do. Any help would be highly appreciated.
