Coded or uncoded theme?

I was recently looking into purchasing a WP theme, but the ads went on about the themes being coded or uncoded. What does this mean, to have a theme that is coded or uncoded?

Cheers

Usually in this context "uncoded" means that you'd be buying just a graphic design, done in PhotoShop. You would have to convert that into a WP theme yourself (or hire it done), which is a non-trivial job that involves slicing up the image and creating all the theme files in PHP and CSS.

A coded theme is ready to go. You upload it to your instance of WP, activate it, and it works.

      Hello,

      Steve is correct.

Better is to buy a coded theme because no one like to code it nor to hire some one for it.

      Thanks
