The general answer is to copy the entire contents of your public_html directory and all sub-directories to the new host. But the details may depend what script or scripts you're running that use the database. And there may be host-specific configuration files that need modifying.

If I were you I would get in touch first with the tech support department of your new hosting company. They should have the expertise to help you.

the name of the database, the user of the database or the password is wrong.

Some host use localhost as adress for their servers.
          Some don't, they use mysql.webhost.com f.ex..
          Check the server adress too.

      1. Backup everything web contents, databases from the current host.
      2. Upload web contents to your new host's server via new FTP details inside public_html folder for Linux and inside wwwroot for Windows.
      3. Create new database in new host's server and restore backup.
      4. Recreate email accounts in new host's server.

The last thing you do is to change the nameservers
after making sure your setup is identical on both hosts.

    Check this point
    1. Export your database using phpmyadmin from your old host
    2. import the database using phpmyadmin in your new host
    3. edit the config.php with your new host detail such as host, database, user, password
