How to learn python for hacking? I want to learn python programming.

    • False. Old school programmers referred to themselves as "hackers", and so do computer security experts. Use of the term doesn't mean that a person wants to become a criminal, and teaching someone how to code does NOT make a person complicit in any crime.

Government houses, big corporate giants are hiring ethical hackers to safeguard their system.   • If you really want to learn hacking (meaning you want to penetrate network & get into someones computer) then you better learn networking & operating systems (such as Linux). How can learning programming will help you in hacking?
  • I just want to make a small note: Python is not a hacking language. There is no such thing as "hacking language or script".
    However, people use Python in hacking (black hat, white hat, gray hat...etc) because it's easy to learn, can run without compilation, will run on all platforms, and has built-in support for many tasks.
    As a matter of fact, a hacker can use any programming language to do the job. It's not the language, it's the method and the vulnerability that he/she is targeting,

    About hacking. Each programming language can be used for good and bad thing.

  • If you want to learn "cracking" with Python, the SecurityTube Python for Pentesters and Hackers course is excellent.
  • 1. Works like any programming language, except I believe it is compiled instead of translated. No, the compiler is free... just look it up. Oh, and Dreamweaver is NOT needed for HTML, only a notepad type program is.
    2. Best method of learning... get a book, and code, code, code, oh, did I mention code?

    3. Can't say that there are any, just go to the book store and look it up.

    4. Yes, there is a free way of learning... internet research paired with experimentation.

    5. Object oriented means that it uses concepts of objects to get things done. Objects hold data and have methods that can work on them. But, Python can be used from a functional perspective as well, it's not purely OO.

    Btw, HTML is just formatting for web page design, it's NOT programming, so don't fool yourself. Hope that helps.

    For coding in general, go to khanacademy.org there is a JS coding guide. But you can modify the code and watch in realtime the approach.
    If you dont know any other code, go with KA, else go to codeschool.
  • Search in Google for "Python beginner tutorials", learn the basics and do own small projects where you apply your learned things.

    I have been programming now over 4 years and it was so easy to jump to Python and learned it quiet quickly, but still even if I'm programmer I had to check Python's syntax and basic logic.
