Is there a standard format for migrating content between CMS'es?

I'm working on a project where the first step is to establish a temporary blog. The second step will be to build a news-heavy corporate website. The blog contents must then be part of, or at least searchable, on the corporate site. Due to integration issues, we haven't yet chosen the CMS for the latter. The blog must show up in searches on the CMS, so I guess we must migrate the content. Hope this makes sense.
