Hi,

Please could you tell me..

Why I see these strange characters instead of up arrows which is what I've seen when firstly opening the file in OpenOffice (Excel alternative)

I uploaded the same file in Google docs, and it shows the same

It's not a keyboard thing / language issue I assume?, what else?

  • Firstly you need to choose the correct Font name, So select the cell & assign the Font name.

    2nd option:
    In the INSERT RIBBON, you can find the Symbol feature, you can insert the right symbol. It will never change.

  • It is the problem of font or any key problem.
    You can ask it to Excel help center or Google help center. It'll tell you the right way.
