Where you all find third party developer to enhance your site?

recently I always encounter " bot attack "

is tricky as what I know if kill off all the bot...your site will not get index..by google as some are google bot.

i check with my host they show me a list of stuffs which I not technically know.
they do suggest seek for developer to look into the site.

As my cpu usage on the host is reaching over limit .

    You can select the bots you want to block and the bots you want to allow but then there will be new bots and it just goes on and on...

    You constantly have to monitor for new bots and some bots don't look like bots at first glance. In any case, if you really want to this, you do need developer to sort this out for you.

    You'r problem may be a lot of things

    - an infinite loop running in your website
    - a plugin with a big fat bug
    - bot (doubt it ...) but who knows it may?
    - trojan, which is the one i will bet my money on

    Is it VPS or shared hosting ? If it's VPS, you will need to give somebody the root access, and this might be more damaging than what you're experiencing now. So you need to have somebody trusted. I don't recommend services like Fiver for such things. I don't know any experienced developer who would do it for $5. It might be 5 minutes, or 5 hours you never know. If you don't know where to start - i.e. how to read log files to see what exactly is going on you need somebody trusted. If it's linux VPS I can take a quick look, if shared hosting ... then I don't know if I can help, I don't know if I can see anything there . PM me if you want - and yes I will need your root password ...
