Hello friends,

I am a developer by a profession. A few months back I made a tool that automates the entire process of applying jobs on Jobsite on behalf of the user. The guy I made this tool for got the job and he told his friends about it and now they are interested. As a wannabe marketing/biz guy I feel opportunity to tap this niche and planning to create a landing page about it.

Since I am newbie, I am not sure what could be main sections of it. I did make a google search against a couple of keywords and found a low competition result.

How should I start page? For instance I started with the logo of the job site
in next line I put as: Are you a college student looking for jobs in H1 tag.. then next, I am thinking to do: If yes then you'd have heard of [JOBSITE]..

Can you please guide?

If possible I would do a video and put the video on the landing page. I would suggest getting just their email on the landing page. You can ask for more details about them later (like name and phone), but make the first step easy. I would keep the content short and sweet. Not too much, but more details on the page they are taken to after they provide their email. Also, I wouldn't mention the price on the landing page unless it is either free or ridiculously low.

I like how your starting so far with your first 2 sentences, and yes, make it start off with h1. Let us know any other ideas you have and I'll be more than glad to give more feedback.

It's a good idea to make sure the content is not cluttered. If readers want to see more details about your app they should have the possibility to go to a separate page. Big chunks of text will only scare people away.

Catchy title, immaculate copy, trust inducing video, and images that make people stay and tell your story. I would add optimized tags, a form and exit popup plus analytics tools like gostats and goals setup for thank you page.

The main ingredient is making it as simple and clean as possible but showing enough information for the user to want to find out more. Make sure your call-to-action buttons are standing out and that you clearly state the advantages of using your product and what problems it solves.

As for knowing what works best you should have some analytics script installed to track what actions are most often done by your users and if the users follow the path that you planned for them to take. Some stats that usually help are provided by sites/scripts like clicktale, hotjar, mouseflow, userTrack, etc...

Also, make sure you test your website landing page on new users (eg: ask your friends to visit your page and give them a simple task to do) because you already know where all the buttons and pages are but your new visitors might not immediately see them.

    Bro,
Create a video for your services and write a professional sales copy from a writer. Get the design done with a designer and thats it.
