PHP files?

Hey All. What are PHP files. How do you open them? They contain some html cod that i need but dont how to get to it. Are these files that i simply upload to me wordpress blog through Cpanel? How do i get to the htnl code to upload it to my wordpress account?

  • Hi there, well you would require to download an editor might be sublime or Notepad++ from the internet. then you can open the php files using these editors. You must have knowledge of PHP programming. HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Wordpress is a CMS (Content Management System) based on PHP language.
  • The easiest way is definitely Notepad++. I use PhpStorm but I suppose that it is easier to you to do it with Notepad++
  • If you need a full and free PHP IDE use PHP PDT or Netbeans with PHP-Plugin.
