[Ask] About Opus Codec Pros & Cons?

Hi All, i'm hear about opus codec from catfiz messenger, cause this app messenger will develop they features voice call with this codec. I'm not programer, I'm just writer and i wanna know about this codec pros and cons for writing my article about opus. Can somebody explain about this codec pros-cons and example app already using this codec for my reference to write article about this? Thanks before and sorry about my bad grammar

    Pros:

    1) high quality user experience
    2) lets developers easily create applications with high quality audio
    3) it can work in very low-bandwidth
    4) real-time communications
    5) it can help foster innovation in applications

    Cons:

    1) Poor Encoder
    2) Crashes with 16000 Sample rate
    3) Doesn't support some third party players
