Hi all!
Need your help to recover the DBF file. After the failure of the hard drive managed to download a disk image. But when trying to run Foxpro crashes error message: "name" is not a valid resource file (Error 1294)". This is a journal of Bank statements. Is it possible to correct this error or to restore the database?

This means a resource file is corrupted. By default, your resource file is FOXUSER (Foxuser.dbf and Foxuser.fpt).

Restore your resource files from backup, or exit Visual FoxPro, delete the resource files, and then restart Visual FoxPro. To check your default resource file, see the File Locations tab of the Options dialog box or use the SET RESOURCE command.

Start VFP in the configurator mode, further it is necessary to start testing and correction. Most likely all be corrected.
But before you begin: create the folder in a disk root (for example badbasa) and start the program with parameters of a command line. In the CMD type
    ScanDBF.exe D: \ badbasa \
I hope will help. But not the fact. It all depends on the extent of the damage... if there are no structural damages, will restore.
Of the programs you can use DBF Recovery Toolbox for dbf recovery. https://www.oemailrecovery.com/dbf_recovery.html
Yes, and always do not lose vigilance and make timely backups of the database.
