Recent Posts Widget Extended "too slow"

Hello guys, this plugin takes long time to update the new posts which added in the WordPress blog, How i can solve this problem and make it more fast?

    You can do multiple things:

    - Enable a caching plugin -> WP Super Cache
    - Leverage browser caching
    - Remove unneeded plugins
    - etc.

    Have you taken steps like this yet to speed up your site ?
