WP Page is Displaying Posts?

I'm having a very strange problem with my WP pages.

My about page and homepage are fine but if I add any other pages they tend to only display a list of the most recent posts rather than the contents I have placed on the page in the back office.

Anyone else had this problem or know a solution?

I'm using themes from freewpthemes.net.

That is peculiar. Does your theme include a page.php file?

I also got that same problem since the template I downloaded has a php file in it.

Check the code for your page.php file. Some themes change the default behaviour of how word press works. maybe you can think of changing the theme as well.
