what are thing to consider while programming a forum using php?

hi there
i'm working on a forum for my site. here is the thing:
i'm using php as a language but it's my first time in such project i would love some advice in what are the security things i should consider while programing like "xxs", "csrf"

Is there any reason you're not using something off the shelf? Forums have been around a long time and there are tons of free forum packages.

I wont advice you to create custom one when you have wonderfull forums scripts like phpbb available you should customize it and use it

Creating the forum from the scratch will take too much time. There are many tools that are available i for creating a forum easily but if you want to create a unique forum then you can check this site for instructions to create a forum from scratch:
