Anyone know where programers can find Linkedin api's or systems for integration? I see a lot of Linkedin software doing all kinds of stuff out there. I was hoping someone could share some light on how the approval process goes. What do they look for? Same for FB?

Have you checked their development area? https://developer.linkedin.com/ I've not used it but this contains info about their self-service APIs and mobile SDK and the FB info is here: https://developers.facebook.com/

  Using Linkedin API doesn't require any approval process such as Facebook (which is a pain in the ass by the way).
