Hello,

I have recently changed the nameservers to a new domain with a reputable managed hosting company. My site is live for few hours and disappears again.

Anyone have faced such long DNS propagation before?

  • It depends on the time-to-live (TTL) set in your old DNS records. No, you can't retroactively change this. Flush your DNS cache and try again. Your new host may be able to make some suggestions.
  • For reputable managed hosting 24 hours should be enough.
Problem might be on you side. You need to reset DNS cache
  • The problem was with the hosting company and I changed them. They have bad technical people cause one of my engineer friends discovered that they have a type in the DNS configuration.
