Whats a good web based software for answering and tracking customer emails?

  • Two good ones are : SysAid CSS and Web Help Desk. Both are free.

    But if you have cPanel hosting you will have other options which can be installed for you via Fantastico or "simple scripts'.

    • Great, thanks, now I just need to hire someone to do them...

      Know of any good outsourcing methods for customer support?
  • You'll find outsourcers on many forums.
    * Elance.com
    * Guru.com
    * oDesk.com
    * Our very own "Warriors for Hire"

    btw, did yo see a particular solution that you liked? Which one did you select?
  • I'm still looking around, I need something that I control, the SysAid CSS is a no go based on the fact that its not a solution that sits on my server.
    I have only a few requirements
    1) I need to have a total control (no peeing eyes)
    2) I sometimes turn inquiry emails into sales, so I need to be able to answer those, but regular service emails can be answered by the person that I will hire.
    3) Tracking, tracking, tracking.

    I don't get many emails maybe 30 a day.. so its not a bigge, but something that I need to get done asap!
