Need Help With Own Article Directory Categories

Hi all,

I'm starting my own article directory using wordpress. Is there anyway for me to mass create the categories as it would be a pain if i had to manually input all the categories one by one. Maybe a plugin for this perhaps? or anything to help with the categories?

    Do you know sql? You should be able to directly import a list into the database if you wanted to.

      There appear to be wp addons that will do the job, but there's been some trouble getting them to work depending on what wp version you're running. Try Googling on "mass import categories wordpress". The top result is a discussion on wp support where several people have listed some addons that can do what you need. You may have to try a couple to find one that actually works right!
