Glass Themes In Your Programs?

Hey guys, I've been noticing the glass theme is starting to be used in programs recently, examples include RSSBot, Micro Office Suite among others that look like the new Microsoft Word 2008 theme.

The question here is does anyone know how to achieve this in my basic, C++, java or C# programs? I did a quick check and the solutions out there are $300+

You mean something like that ribbon control or just glossy look? Beacuse Aero glass will be used in every application if you just tick "Enable Visual Styles" (or sth like that) in your project's properties in Visual Studio 08.
