Any useful sites for learning or discussing web coding?

I am trying to use stackexchange but I get a load of bull from them and pretty much all my questions are concealed muted and censored. I am looking for a good website to meet programmers and get help or other learning resources. Often times I am in need of the basics or where to look up the "data sheets" or "man pages" for most educational topics.

I am also a fond user of Ubuntu and I like video games and eventually would like to make one whether I am getting paid or not. So links to game engines like Love2d,Ren'Py, tiny. cc/mugenlinux, Instead Unity GoDot allegro DevKitPro or Code IDEs like Code::Blocks ZeroBrane and some useful libraries like SDL and how to learn a libraries API is what I need.

    BEST forum for developers is.
    Depending on your language, you can learn a lot by looking at other people's code, like with over 5000 entries. Look for the star rating and look for the ones with highest ranking to start with... It's not a forum, though!

    UnrealEngine can't say more if you want to go into game dev, i expect you'll love it...

    Well if you have never done any type of programming then you should learn basics of programming. You could try Harvard's CS50 course (Introduction to Computer Science), it will help you build a good foundation.
    Then you can try to explore things as per your interest like Gaming,App Development, Web Development etc. You can find good courses on websites like Udemy,Udacity,Coursera.

    I hear ya. StackExchange has become a place of arrogant, rude developers who won't answer newb questions and just want you to hire them instead. Used to be great.
