Can we use java program in Data Science instead of R or python?

Is there any problem to use java in data science...

    Yeah of course you can there are some packages in java like Java Data Mining Package (JDMP).
    you can use those packages for that,

    but for data science I don't recommend java over R and python.
    because R is a language that is really for those uses and python is a great tool too and those languages are updating rapidly because most of the data scientists using them.......

  • I'd say Phyton is more for prototyping, if you want to build a large system Java is better, science or not.

    But you probably may have to reinvent the wheels.
    As Most of the libraries for data science are available in Python or R.

    As Java is one of the oldest languages, it comes with a great number of libraries and tools for ML and data science. However, it is also a difficult language for beginners to pick up as compared to Python and C#. ... Also, Java is pegged to be 25 times faster than Python.
