How to create my own push notification server for promoting offers.

Hi all, please let me know if there exists a tool which will let me create my own push notification server. By that I mean I don't want any SaaS push notification service or something similar. I want to create my own setup which does not have any subscription charge. Please guide me to create one.

  • It doesn't seem cost or time effective to build and maintain your own server, using platforms like firebase, vizury and appier are the way to go.
  • Just like 99.99% of the time, there are WordPress plugins you can use.... Remember, ALL WordPress plugins are licensed under GPL as required by the WordPress license.... So, the code is available.

    If you Google it, you'll see a ton.... Some are SAAS and subscription based.... and others you run from your own site.....

    If you really want to create your own push server..... from scratch, you can Google that as well...

    In the end, I wouldn't waste my time "reinventing the wheel."

  • Then you'll have to create your own version from scratch but like the second response mentioned it is not cost or time effective due to the need of multiple servers and other infrastructure.
