Stumped

The site in my signature has some kind of malfunction. I've never used that theme before and before I change it to something else can some take a look and see why:

1- sometimes the initial load hangs and you see the raw text without any theme. Basically it loads without referencing the style sheet properly. I've checked the code and there's nothing out of the ordinary.

2-Google search for the url turns up nothing. It has been verified in GWM tools for a week. The site map is recorded with no errors. Stats show plenty of visits from engines and archivers. Privacy settings are set properly.

I'm sure it's something stupid simple and the site isn't worth much in any case, but now I'm curious and need to make sure I don't repeat the error.

  • I always plug the site url into google to verify that it has been indexed. Webmaster tools says it has, but when I search for the URL I get zilch. First time I've ever seen that.

  • I see 19 indexed pages in Google

    The amazon flash advertisement is probably your culprit on the page load.
    Try putting it in an iframe so the rest of the site will load while waiting on Amazon.
