I was wondering if there was anyone who could write me a good script to redirect people to a special part of say a forum?
I am considering building a forum and would like an 'exclusive' members lounge were paid membership is needed (see my other posts)

I am just looking for interest at this early stage and hope that someone could help me out.
I also want to say that I am loving this forum and that everyone has been really helpfull!!!

cheers

Tyler

You could try doing what they do here on WF, and just making a special forum for subscribers.

I like Simple Machines Forum software, but they aren't best when it come to SEO. You kind of have to make a few tweaks to make them a little better at SEO.

vbulletin seems to be the best for SEO.

Are you going to make your forum from scratch?

I don't see why you would want to do this considering there are so many good forum software to choose from.

You can do it with smf if i remember correctly... you can make levels of membership within the forum and then set up a category that only that level can have access to. Once they subscribe and pay you you must manually move them from "basic" level to a "premium" level.
