Finally got my Source Code through FTP access help editing

So I know very little programming but got my Source Code from the programmer so that I can finish up some loose ends that he failed to do thus far and wanted to know once I log into my FTP account how do I edit my pages for the website? I use 1and1 for my hosting.

Also if there are any local programmers in the southeast florida region that know .asp I would be interested in possibly working with them.

  • I am in boca raton btw..
  • If you use Filezilla what I do is just download the file, edit it on my computer, then upload it again. Or you can go into your hosting accout panel (cPanel or whatever you use) and go to your file manager and there should be something there that allows you to edit the file.

    • Get EditPlus, you can edit and upload at the same time... It's what I use on a daily basis, and it doesn't cost anything. It's got a built in FTP client, and does Syntax highlighting for several languages.
