How to make an http://

My best friend is working on her masters in education, with a focus on children and with difficulty in learning. Apparently, she is to design a web quest tutorial for them, this part we have covered, but the professor wants the assignment to have an http:// address. Does anyone know how to do this easily?

Yes, google.com has something called web quest, but it will not work for thin project.
Thank you all in advance.
#http or or #http or or #make

Do you mean to say you want to put it on the Internet?

This would involve getting a domain name and putting the files onto a web server. You could do it on your own hosting plan, a free host or perhaps her school has a web server she could have space on.

If you need me to elaborate just let me know.

The best thing for you to probably do is to create a free blog on Wordpress. They will give you a free subdomain, and you'll be able to choose many free themes. It should definitely be good enough to publish some instructional / educational material.

Here are some steps you can go for:

    1. Go to www.blogger.com
    2. Sign up a free a/c
    3. When you are asked to choose your "Web address", type some name you want, without space, case doesn't matter (because they will all covert to lower case).
    4. Follow the remaining steps on the screen (like choosing theme). You will be prompted that your blog is ready.
    5. When you are in your blog area, you can create your first post by typing something like "This is my first blog" or "test". You do not need to write a 500 words article right away. Just write something, and click "Post".
    6. You just create a blog and publish your first post. Everyone who are online on the earth can access your blog now.
    7. Remember and write down your web address, the format will be something like: http://(your-selected-name).blogspot.com.
    8. Submit to your professor.
    9. Celebrate

If you want to have own domain name. You can register a domain name and point to a free blog.
A domain name cost you about $10/year.

If I were her, I would simply use a free wordpress blog. Its much better than blogger (in my opinion) with more features and an overall better layout.
