This isn't exactly about programming but I think it's the most suitable topic for it.

In the last couple days I'm getting a disturbing number of emails from my business address rejected. When this has happened in the past I've switched to my personal email at Yahoo but this time those emails are getting returned also.

In one case it states "no such user". Another one says "No MX or A records for (email address). And another says "couldn't find any host named (email domain)".

This has actually led to angry customers on a couple of occasions but what can I do about it?

Does anyone have any idea about what's going on and how to fix it?

What is the domain / email address in question? Feel free to PM instead if you would rather.

Do you happen to have an example of the bounce message or an idea of where it came from?

I worked support about 10 years ago on this type of thing... guess im a sucker for punishment

Eight bytes walk into a bar. The bartender asks, “Can I get you anything?”
“Yeah,” reply the bytes. “Make us a double.”

My first inclination was to suggest that the server your emails are coming from has been flagged as hosting a spammer, but when you say that you have the same problem with Yahoo mail too, I would expect the problem to be on the receiver's end. BUT, you say this is with multiple addresses? Now I'm just scratching my head.

I'd try opening a new Yahoo or Gmail account, and trying one more time from there. It just doesn't make any sense that both local and web-based email would have the same problems across multiple addresses.
