I am looking for an experienced developer to clone a popular site... Some of the features of the site are:

-Membership
-User profile & functions (photo upload, reviews, blog, forum, Q&A, etc)
-Advertising/Media kit
-Affiliate program
-Affiliate product and banner links from various soures
-Feeds from various news, articles, books, etc. sources
-Advance SEO

      Or, it's a rather careless sales pitch. If the very name of the offer can't be spelled right, how much hope does that inspire for quality work and clarity of communication?

      Since there are new online trends all the time, I'm leaning towards the first interpretation. Just fill out your profile, and your spouse will be yours within a week.

  • I am still looking for a developer... I am actually looking for a small company with designers and developers as the site too big for one person.
  • FYI - if I were you - I'd take a good look at Drupal - it's perfect for this sort of thing. You'll save a bunch of time. I've had a look at 'Buddypress' which seems to be ok as well.

    If you use something like that, you'll have 80% of what you need 'out of the box'. Make sure you get someone who uses that. If you have problems, you can easily find another team to do the work.
