Membership Site Script Recommends

Hi Folks,

I'm about to launch a wordpress based membership site.

I need to find a memership site script that integrates well with wordpress.

I've checked out membergate (too expensive). And aMember.

Do you have any other recommends?

    Or Drupal - that's free too! (Don't think there's a lot to choose between it and Joomla, but people tend to prefer one to the other)

    If you want to use wordpress - take a look at wordpress mu.

    We've set up a few of these sites for people - it's pretty easy to do. Drop me a line if you want more info - always good to help.

    My wish list for features....

    - Seamless integration with Aweber.

    I want to be able to have lists for each level of the membership. And those subscriptions to be seemlessly managed all inside the membership site script. Not just a single list for members and non-members. I would like to be able to segment the lists according to membership level.

    - Seamless integration with Paypal

    - Seamless integration with a robust Affiliate Program (looking for an affiliate program script to)

    - Multi-levels of membership. Ability to allow premium content to highest level members etc.

    - Ability to drip content

    - Automated as much as possible. Non-payments automatically blocked etc. Declined cards automatically sent reminder emails. etc.

    That would be great to get all that.

      I'm pretty sure that I was recently looking at a script like that, and I may have it bookmarked, but I have quite a few bookmarked and am busy with some other things.

    Sounds like you are going to need a custom solution, as I cannot think of anything that is that specific.

    There's a good amount of people on WF and elsewhere that can build up a nice one, but that is going to be expensive.

    I've been very happy with my test of Wishlist as a Wordpress membership site. Does pretty much everything you requested, although full Aweber integration isn't there because Aweber is it's own system.

    I'm basically looking at Aweber list as prospects and WP members as members. Since Wishlist does it's own dripping of content, it works.

    Take a look. I think you will be happy with what you see.
