Joomla Affiliate Component/plugin????

ok so i have a new joomla site in progress, and planning to launch it in the next day or so, and i am in need of a Affiliate Component/plugin/module for Joomla 1.5.x

I have looked at Jafilia but development on that seems to be extremely slow to almost a complete stop (if it is even still alive and not defunct) and besides it si mainly for VirtueMart).

I am not apposed to making one but i just do not have the time, those of you here that use joomla have any suggestions??

I looked at the joomla extentions site but all i found were a bunch of bloated ad managers.

any one have any suggestions????

  • have you had a look at idevaffiliate - iDevAffiliate - Affiliate Tracking Software - Affiliate Program Software

    they have a joomla plugin... it creates an account automatically when a user registers on your joomla site... it run independently using idevaffiliates own backend, but for me i feel its a good solution that i will be implementing shortly...

    you dont necessarily need the plugin you can easily manually create accounts in idevaffiliate and simply add in some extra code to your registration page to integrate it... if i am not mistaken if you are using AEC i believe it has a built in feature for idevaffiliate

  • I know some Joomla Affiliate Components, not just one but from my view VA (virtue-affiliate.com) is one of the best, because beside the component itself, it matters and the support witch comes within the script, and (at least for me), i can't say a bad word regarding Virtue Affiliate support.They are good at this chapter.But is a commercial component, bought 2 months ago with 50 euro.I'm not sure that the price is still 50.
