Stop using FF maybe... Sorry but I had to say it. People are just caught up in not using Microsoft's products because some nerds said so. Maybe go back and give it a try. I know I have the most of my troubles in FireFox... If you really hate Microsoft, maybe try Chrome from Google?

Gmail can be annoying at times. Try deleting your cookies that may help.

Maybe you should upgrade to the latest Firefox Browser Version.
Had the same problem with my old computer.

I had some crashes recently with FF too..and sometimes FF is using around 300 RAM. I tried using Chrome, but I don`t like it too much.

I remember having the same issue when firefox 2.0 was out. However they have fixed that problem a long time ago and you should update to the latest version. If the problem persists you need to send a message to the firefox technical team and report the error.

I'm using the latest version and it is like windows 98 machine slow. Top of the line sony vaio laptop everything else running as smooth as I've ever seen, but like always the super powerfull FireFox is running slow.

It does that thing where you go to enter a URL and you type it but the characters are showing up around 2 seconds late. No other program runs like that on my computer and I have had the same problems with every machine I've ever had. IE is smooth and chrome is getting there.
