How To Launch and Manage Multiple Websites Efficiently

Hi, I own and operate multiple websites. Additionally, I launch a new website probably once a month (whenever I have the idea for one). Because of this, I need a quick, simple, and cost effective way to execute the end to end process of launching a website.

If anyone knows, please tell how to manage easily these process include domain name registration, setting up hosting, install website platform, and create the initial contents.

Thanks in advance.

I put up a few hundred a month for various purposes so can give a few bullets...

    • Put as much as you can - ideally everything - on 1 dedicated server. WHM helps as well.
    • Use WPMU or WP + fantastico for quick setup.
    • Bulk register all domain names for speed - then use the registrar's bulk nameserver editing tools. NameCheap is great with this. I've also got a custom script to register domains via NameCheap's API - which is something you might want to look into getting made.
    • For posting initial content... well I have my own WP plugins for that
    • If you're looking for maximum automation you could get a script made that buys the domain, sets it up in cpanel then installs & configures WordPress. You could probably get something like this for a couple of hundred at RAC.
If you're launching 1 per month then it's not really an issue is you use WordPress.

Obviously the key is automation and consistency. WPMU is a great option, but also consider what running all of those sites from the same IP address may do to the SEO value of all the sites.

Assign for all of your multiple websites different C class IP if that possible so that SEO performance would be better. WPU is the option to administrate your multiple websites also consider to add live track if your have high traffic webistes.
