Help with asp and wordpress

was wondering how hard it is to apply asp with wordpress? Has anyone ever done this application with any luck and if so, can you show me any sites that you've done like this? Thanks

  • Wordpress is written in PHP so there is no ASP in there. You can however run Wordpress in IIS instead of Apache.

    Apache is the web server that most web hosts running any kind of Unix is using.
    IIS is the web server that is mostly used on Windows. You can run Apache on windows but I would not recomment it. Microsoft has worked together with PHP to make PHP run blazingly fast in IIS lately.

    The easiest way to set up a webserver with Wordpress in Windows is to run the Microsoft Web Platform Installer.
