Unable to create directory /home/mydomain/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server? This is needed so that you can receive images with your articles.

I used Hostgator for my new Wordpress.
When I installed plugin Unique Article Wizard (UAW) I found that notice.
I was try to fixed that problem:
1. Go to the Wordpress.com/org-forum
2. Chat with Hostgator support
3. Check and Replace my miscellaneous wordpress "Store uploads in this folder"
4. Check my cpanel root (plugin directory: 0755; plugin files: 0644)

but I still can't fixed that problem...
_Please Help....

You're in Bandung? Nice..! So am I, small world haha

So, can u explain the issue a bit more in detail.

Are you trying to create a directory? Or the script/plugin is trying to create it?

I'm sure it's easy to fix once we know the details. Sounds like you just need to configure some permissions on your server.

    Delete the old folder.
And manually make the upload folder
inside the wp-content folder and chmod it 777.
I have done it in the past and it worked.

Thanks Manfred and HomeBizNizz for your great responses.

    I just changed my Wordpress

Settings - Miscellaneous - Store uploads in this folder - wp-content/uploads - uncheck Organize my uploads into month and year based folders - uncheck Track Links' Update Times

    and it's worked.

@shanmarpo1910 - I hope those steps works for you too.

    and I got another problem
my amazon script didn't appear in my browser, Speaks you soon.
