Wordpress Help

Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone might be able to shed some light for me. I am installing my first wordpress blog in conjunction with a video course i purchased. I am up to the point where it suggested RSS feeds. Following tutorial, i installed WP-omatic. After I activated it and tried to set it up I get a new window that states, (Please switch to Firefox / Safari)
I am very new to all of this. Can someone please explain what i should do. The computer is Windows XP.

    It's a known bug in WP-Omatic, the fix requires you to edit the PHP code in the plugin. Not sure if you feel up to the task, but if you do these links might help:

    Essentially the fix is to remove the code that detects Internet Explorer and produces the error message!

      Thankyou very much for taking the time to reply. I will have a look at the links you have given me. Hopefully i can fumble through and sort it out. If i get stuck i might get back to you and take you up on your offer for a bit of help.

      How come the recommended switch to firefox. I checked out the promo video and there is lots of features to personalise my page i can see, but from a tech side can you let me know please.

      That would be stupid. Maybe they could release plugins that work for the majority of internet users.

        IE Explorer users, see Gmail already stopped support for IE 6. There are no worse browser than IE. And nothing best than FF at least when you go for development, SEO and other power users stuffs.
