$7 Script: Set Cookie Before Main Index?

I'm wanting to use a custom front end with the $7 script. The front end script is a custom script of mine, it's in PHP.

I figured setting the affiliate cookies before it hit the $7 script index wouldn't be tough. I can't figure it out though.

I basically want to go mysite.com/?e=afflink,

That lands on my squeeze page, drops the affiliate cookie, and then they move on through the sales funnel.

Any ideas on this?

I should mention I can't use the built in giveaway feature for what I want to do, at least not without quite a bit of work. I'd rather just drop cookies if possible.

    If you just want to drop a cookie, use a hidden iframe (src = the page where you want to grab the cookie from) or an image-tag, make it 1x1 pixels. (src = the page where you want to grab the cookie from). The second method doesn't always work, so I recommend you to test it with some cookie-viewer.

    There are some other methods as well that wont show up if the user views the source classified stuff...

    Some vendors and affiliate networks don't allow cookie dropping so make sure you read their TOS
