What's A Ballpark Cost Figure on Cloining This Tool?

I found a tool called Visual Pagerank Overlay (Visual PageRank View) that seems like a great little application.

The idea is you plug in a url and the tool displays the subject page in question in a window overlay and goes through all the links on the page and sets a little box next to each link tell you what the Pagerank is for the various pages that are being linked to.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work as it is suppose to. I've run a few sites through there and it returns a Zero Pagerank score for 99% of all the links and when I go to the vairous pages they all have PR1+ scores.

Their support forum leaves me thinking that whoever is in charge over there at iwebtool is asleep at the wheel and updating the software to be able to check for this properly is not a big priority.

Anyway, I'm wondering how much it might cost to get a script created that works in exactly the same way. I can't think it would be that difficult for someone that knows what they are doing.

You might find it's not working properly because google
are cracking down on sites & software that query them too much.

So unless you find a solution to that,
cloning similar sites/software may not be a good idea.

    all the best though,

If the primary intention is to use such a script personally rather than put it up for public use or sell it to many customers, the script can be created and used effectively but you will have to use proxies to query google's servers. Post a bid on freelance sites like odesk, rentacoder and you'll get a good price estimation.
