addon domains with Hostgator

Hi,

I'm new to this forum but would like some advice if possible.

If you have several addon domain sites hosted with Hostgator, and a surfer views one of these addon sites and was to view page source (cos they're nosey) are they gonna see //primarydomain/addon domain...etc or would they just see //addondomain..etc in the meta info ?

I'm asking because I tested putting one up with GoDaddy and it clearly shows primary/addon ! which I obviously don't want.

Hope someone can clear it up for me.

    I'm haven't face this kind of issue until now. I'm using hostgator.

    If you are using wordpress, It's impossible to view that addon domain info.

    What platform are you using? CMS or HTML?

    No there won't be any info in the page source which will let the visitor know that you using it as an addon domain. Don't worry about it.
