CMS system/site builder - ease of use?

Hi all.

I have made static sties with Frontpage and/or Kompser but it's slow and messy to maintain.

I've been having a look at Drupal and Joomla, they are both database driven and I'm not sure I need or want that. I'm thinking of relatively simple sites 20 to 50 pages will nothing more complex than a aff link or contact form.

What I need is EASY TO USE I'm no programmer and big G friendly I'd go with WP it's easy but the load times hurt.

  • You might want to have a look at wordpress in this case. It's very simple to use for creating pages.

    • I've just been looking at a caching plugin that apparently speeds things up to "static rates".

      I'll give it a go.
