transferring to wordpress from weebly

I am having the hardest time trying to transfer from weebly to wordpress. its not formatting. I know nothign about code. Is there an easy way to do this? I have copywrite in certain font, size and color but wordpress strips the html code and makes it black font and very small. Any easy way to transfer whole webpages to wordpress?

  • What are you trying to copy over?
    You can view the source of the page Edit -> View source in your browser,
    Then you can paste it into the HTML section of wordpress (You should have 2 tabs per post, 1 is labeled HTML)..
    This should keep all your formatting.
    You can also install the Tiny MCE formatting plugin and you can re-format the text once you paste it in.

  • why dont you copy the HTML code and when pasting in wordpress , select HTML mode ?
